Weighing out the age of our doors which had exceeded their life & were in very bad condition, we opted to replace them with new Amarr garage doors. I have a residential steel garage door that is 18' wide by 8' high. One of my springs snapped in two after 14 years of daily usage. I looked on the Internet, read reviews, and gave myself a good education regarding what was involved with the workings of the door and differences in the quality of the available replacement parts. I called Precision Door of Atlanta around 7pm and the serviceman arrived around 10am the next day as promised. Christian was polite and did a through exam of all the moving parts including the gears in the garage door opener. He gave me a detailed quote and explained every part that was either needed or recommended. I decided to go with the best option since I want the system to perform well for a long time to come. Looking at the replacement parts it was clear they exceeded the quality of the original parts. I assume you get what you pay for. Precision Door's service is not cheap but I was very happy with the service and the outcome.
