Extremely bad sales tactics - just be open and recommend what is really required and a reasonable price than asking to negotiate! Also similar to car sales tactics, he wanted me to take decision immediately. I was quoted $1900 to do repairs and around $2600 to replace doors! When I mentioned that since the price was high for repairs, I would prefer to do some research and decide in couple of days tech person got angry and just took off. Hope this was just the specific person...

We have thoroughly discussed your experience with him and used it as a teaching tool to explain that not everyone makes a decision on the spot, or are impulsive dealing with investments, repairs, purchases, etc. You certainly have the right to think on it and do research, we apologize he made you feel like you couldn't and that he left the way he did. His behavior that day is not an example of our company standards and expectations, as customer satisfaction is our top goal, we apologize we fell short of this goal with you. Precision was the only company I called that would commit to coming out first thing the next morning to diagnose a problem with our garage door. The technician David Sweeney was friendly, knowledgeable and quick to diagnose and fix our problem. I took the other company’s sticker off our garage wall and put up precision’s sticker so I have their number right where I need it, enough said!

Jason is awesome! He spent so much time with me helping me understand my options for new doors. I ultimately chose Precision because Jason respected my desire for new wood doors and carefully and patiently explained the pros and cons of wood vs steel. Scott installed our new wood garage doors and super quiet motors quickly and professionally. He obviously cares about doing his work with excellence and he was so kind to us. Called Precision late on Friday night after my garage springs broke. They were very polite and quickly gave me an appointment for Saturday. Shaun came on time and was very nice. I placed a call to Precision Overhead Garage Door Service because one of the torsion springs on my garage door broke after 5PM. The call was answered by their call center and I was given a time frame for the technician to arrive at my house. I was also sent an e-mail with the service confirmation and it included the technician's name and photograph. Brandon, my assigned technician, arrived closer to the front end of the time frame and met with me. He inspected the door and pointed out to me other issues that I had not noticed earlier, in addition to the obviously broken spring. Afterward he explained my repair options. Once I selected the option of my choice, Brandon set out to repair the door. He completed the repairs quickly and efficiently and I told him so. He tested the repair and talked to me about the warranty program and then he left after removing all the debris and faulty parts. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend Precision Overhead Door Service to anyone in need of quality repairs. Brandon was friendly, courteous and professional in all interactions with me.

Excellent response time a day after calling with a damaged garage door opener belt to be replaced; I looked into an Amazon belt with simple DIY replacement, but decided to have an expert install it for me for the reasonable cost roughly estimated. Dustin Ridge showed up on time for the repair and easily convinced us that for a little more cost, we could replace the entire garage door opener, which was at least 12 years old, and included the belt and all other new parts! Fabulous reason to have the professionals check the job and estimate the needs for us. As an added bonus, Dustin reprogrammed all of our cars and remotes, changing out troublesome LED bulbs in the openers with older CFL bulbs, which were causing interference with our signals. Amazing advice, professionalism and work from a company we have dealt with since installing our four garage doors back in 2007; we are lifetime clients. Thank you for your excellent service and for employing technicians like Dustin to do the work.

I called in around 10:15am and within 45 minutes I had JOJO at my door. He explained thoroughly what he thought was best for my situation (garage door was coming off track and caving as it tried to open and close) and under 2 hours everything was done (new springs and rollers) and both my garage doors are working properly again and the work is under warranty. He was personable, professional and sweet to my dog...what more could you ask for!

The technician that came out did a great job. The issue was the installer that originally installed the opener left one important item out - battery for the battery backup. Not sure how this happened with an experienced installer but it did. Since the initial installation we have had to call Precision back twice now. One time to fix the security lights because the door would not close and the next time to install the battery that should have been installed at time of installation. Never rec'd a good explanation of why the battery was forgotten when we purchased a unit that had battery backup.
