Jack Mickelson was courteous, though I question his thoroughness. I was disappointed that he did not remove the cover of the garage door opener to check for any possible defects. I had suggested that there was a problem between my transmitter and the receiver. He replied that as the receiver was aging, it would not receive the signal as efficiently as in prior years. Mine is an older model, installed anytime between from 1984-1990. I can place the garage door opener next to the receiving box and it works, but when placed any distance away from the receiver, the transmitter and receiver do not communicate. I also mentioned that dust accumulation might be a problem, as I had seen that in a YouTube video. He indicated that the motherboard might be defective, but he said that he only had replacements for 2016 models forward. I essentially paid for an estimate beginning at more than $1000.

I contacted Precision Garage Door of Atlanta last week about replacing a HUGE warehouse door on one of our leased units. Shaun Sewell got back in touch with me immediately and setup an appointment for Monday. The technician, Brian Bohannon, came out - on time - and was able to estimate the replacement. I expect to have the door installed in the next couple of days. The price of the door was about $4,000 less that that other company's price of two years ago. For the same door. I am more than pleased with the response time and the helpfulness and professionalism of everyone I was in contact with. By the way, I contacted that other company (think "red ribbon") about this the same day and haven't heard back from them at all.

Technician Emilio Price was fantastic (A+ work) and replaced the springs and cables for my garage door to get it working well. It was hard work in high heat, high humidity conditions with limited space to work inside a cluttered claustrophobic garage. Highly recommended!

I’m not sure where the lies begin or end with this company but I paid about $1300 for what was supposed to be a complete garage motor/ components attached to the garage replacement. Here we are about 8 months from the time this took place and my cable attached to the doors snapped for no reason in the middle of the night. I called for a technician they quoted about $75 for a service. I said it should be covered they said they’re unsure if it is. I asked if I could send a pic of the issue and the lady said no. So a technician comes out and says “it’s not covered under you warranty” $75. I just paid, these people are ripping people off do not hire them for their services.

Technician couldn't figure out the problem as my garage would easily go up but to let it down you had to press on pad numerous times (sometimes up to 20 times) before door would go down. He stated board needed to perhaps be replaced and recommended new unit cost $800 but offered discount if installed same day, even offered financing. Unit still woukd have been $700. Had Overhead come following days and fixed immediately by resetting both up and down reset buttons! I am LIVID that I paid the $70 service fee and feel I should be reimbursed!

I booked the appointment online. They gave me a 2 hour window. The technition texted 10 minutes before the start of my appointment so say he’d arrive in 15 minutes. He was curteous and knowledgable. Fixed the problem in 30 minutes. Highly recommend.
