Our technician did a full torsion conversion which includes 3 bearings, a torsion tube, drums, cables and labor. Thanks so much to Precision for fixing my garage door. I called them as a 2nd opinion because the guys at Overhead Door Atlanta stated I needed to replace my whole garage door due to the fact that it was a 3 panel garage door. The other guys wanted me to replace the whole thing to a 4 door garage panel door. Keep in mind my home is a brand new construction townhome and none of my neighbors had this issue with the same 3 panel garage. Glad I called Precision. They just needed to replace the spring and hinges and saved me so much money. Very honest people not looking to up sell me!

It is hard to accept that within 3 years we would have to spend $2000 across 3 separate “major” repair visits. Considering the original equipment was 12 years old it was time to replace the system ... springs and opener. But the one bit of advice I offer and recommend is that when you customer has an above average, “oversized”, heavy door — counsel that customer that they need a tune up every 1-2 years due to the size and weight of the door. Because after spending $1700 for equipment and labor ... finding out you need a tuneup just 15 months later is a REALLY hard pill to swallow. The service is good and professional. But still a tough thing to handle.

My experience with Precision was more than I expected. My technician was courteous, professional, and well versed with his skill set. High marketing on television makes you more visible and attractive when seeking garage door repair. No need to really search for more. When you advertise this much it could be positive or negative for the company. Positive because you're the 1st reminder when seeking out such jobs and negative because your work reflects your credibility. One wrong turn and negative viral marketing could affect your business extremely. A company willing to take that risk is worth taking a risk with. 2 days in, so far, so good.
