Called the office early in the morning for a non-emergency appointment expecting to be told it would be at least a week or more for a tech to arrive. I was surprised when told it would be that afternoon when someone would be by. Even more suprised when Joe called minutes later and said he would arrive within 30 minutes. Sane day service is amazing these days and Joe was not only very competent, but personable as well. He removed/installed a new garage door opener, springs and performed inspections on three other doors in a very reasonable amount of time. The only reason for five stars is that I wasn’t able to give a ten.

Chris did a great job. Called when he was on the way and discussed the issues we had. Once he arrived he gave us options to repair and costs. The repairs were completed very promptly and I was emailed a receipt. Much appreciated.

For responding so promptly, I give Precision a five star. However, when asking over the phone about replacing both wire ropes on my garage door, she stated that the cost would be $89. When the tech arrived, the cost does not include labor and that the cost would be $260. Now I realize that Precision has many business expenses, I thought that was a little extreme. But then the tech recommended that both tension springs be replaced and then he came up with a cost of $843 for a complete parts replacement because each spring cost $200. Now anyone with any material cost experience knows that is completely false. I even gave Amazon as a possible site to get pricing on those tension springs ( I actually looked up the 90 lb t25" tension springs on Amazon after he left and you can get a pair for under $50) . Once I said that I could just pay $28 and send him on his way, we decided for him to talk to his manager. After to talking to his manager, he said his manager would do the job for $600 witch I excepted. Even though I knew the parts would be around $200 and labor would then be around $400, it would be expedient to have the work done then instead of me having to call out another company. For the work done (about 2 hours including time spent on cost estimates, actual labor and travel time), I give Precision a 5 Star. I strongly recommend that Precision give a reasonable price up front and not attempt to make an unreasonable profit at the customer's expense!

One of my garage doors hadn't been closing properly for a few months and I needed assistance. The tech, Scott King, came to diagnose the problem today. He arrived when he said he would and he was quite personable (a plus) as well as professional. Within 40 minutes, Mr King had my door up and running smoothly! He also made sure both garage doors were performing correctly. Kudos!!

Both of my grandfathers and my Dad were all auto mechanics. and fixed other things too. During my 37 year pilot's aviation career, I've seen a lot of repairs and made many myself, including airplanes, helicopters and cars, even the garage dour repaired today. The repairman admitted to "being new." Better work is not available, or should I say possible. My college degree is in Mechanical Engineering. I know what I saw is "The Best." 2 Springs, 2 cables, one pulley, remove and replace.
