Definitely another 5-star rating for this company! Today was the second time during our ownership of this home that we turned to Precision Door Service. Because of the excellent repairs, thoroughness, communication skills and friendliness of the technician at our earlier visit, we again turned to them this week when what turned out to be a minor issue (but a major headache just a few days from closing on selling our house!) needed to be resolved. Today, Joe M. was our technician and the experience was again exceptional. One more thing off of the burgeoning moving check list with timely, friendly service. I believe in being as quick to praise as to criticize, and am most happy to recommend this company and the team members I've dealt with.

I got a email from Tim the owner to let him know if I was not satisfied. I had questions and I emailed him back but that account is set up for no-reply. The email bounced. So I had no way to contact. I tried to contact him before I wrote this. Got 2 springs replaced and on each door. The springs installed are different sizes/specs on the same door. My research indicates that the springs should be the same size and specifications for longevity on the same door (my original springs were same size and specs). This makes sense. Other garage door companies informed me so also. I paid a lot of money for upgraded springs (salesman advice) and even though they may last out the warranty period they may break before the 12 year mark my last springs worked. The technician was polite but was a sales man never the less. He quoted me a 30$ price on a washer that is Free when you buy springs on the internet or from other companies or 3$ MAX. Since I paid for labour. The parts shouldn't have been overpriced. Thats double dipping to me. Because I got my other doors functioning door springs replaced the 2 washers were not charged for but I was made to feel that they're giving away some thing of great value when in REALITY it had little or NO value. I did not appreciate that at all. I only got this company in an emergency because a friend recommended it. I do feel that garage door companies charge a lot for service. I recommend that customers call around and price the parts and labor. Replacing springs should not be that expensive. The salesman should not try to sell you the most expensive item. Customers are usually trusting the professionals and the professionls have a responsibility to be honest and save customers money. The doors are working fine but the unmatched springs on each door according to other garage door companies will potentially be problem in the future. This bother me a lot. After the work was done I investigated this matter. I felt some thing was wrong. My original springs were the same size and specs for a reason. Everyone was polite who I talked to and came on time. I can give a 5 for that. Cost 1 (honestly). The work took about 60 minutes.

He was friendly, courteous, professional, competent, trustworthy and efficient - he got my old garage door working very quickly. I was initially hesitant about using your company but I'm so glad I did. Even with the few hiccups the representative Edward Davis was AWESOME! His main goal was to make me happy. He had to call someone before he could make any decisions and whomever he spoke with was just as great. This company is a winner and I will never use anyone else. I felt like I knew Edward for years. This company went above and beyond to make this the best customer experience ever! I will rave about them every chance I get!

Called Sunday night at 11PM and to my surprise someone picked-up. Call was scheduled from 10AM-2PM on Monday. I got a 30 minute in advance call notice and met Jason at 11:45AM. He quickly assessed and quickly fixed the problem. Within 1 hour, I had a new motor, (which is way less noisy, has a light on it, and I now have a back-up battery if the power goes out), the cars were programed to open the garage door, and some touch-up work was done at no additional cost on the garage door to make it smoother and eliminated the squeakiness. Based on the garage being older, I thought a replacement might be the only solution. I could have spend a lot more, but was thrilled to learn that fixing it was the best solution because an out right replacement would have cost 4-5 times more. Not pushing a new garage door on me shows integrity. Jason represents your company well Precision. I am happy with your companies service and felt the price was fair. Thanks.

The service was fine, the individual was prompt, and it didn't take too long for him to repair my garage, however; i wasn't satisfied with the price for the amount of work done. To replace two springs and two cables cost me $478.00 and change. I thought that was a bit steep. I was in a pinch because I had a vehicle trapped inside. Next time I will shop around more.

Many calls we get are from folks who have had one or both springs break with their vehicle inside their garage and we understand these situations are of high priority. With that in mind, there were no charges for same-day or emergency service and we were able to get to your home relatively quickly. The springs we installed are powder coated and will give you nearly double the cycles, for the same amount of money, than a non powder coated spring - which is prone to rust and therefore breakdown much quicker. We value you as a customer and hope you come to appreciate the products you purchased and the value you received. We sincerely want to keep you as a satisfied customer for years to come! Thank you for choosing Precision- we don't believe you will need new springs or our services for several years, but when you do, we hope you choose us again!

I am so impressed with the Customer Service I received this morning. Fortunately, my garage door opened this morning allowing me to back out onto the driveway as I prepared to go to work Upon hitting the car remote to close the garage door, I hear a bang and nothing moved the door. I called my former garage door company and they couldn't see me until later in the week. I had to get to work. I remembered seeing your heartfelt TV commercials and called. The receptionist was so pleasant and caring saying she thought she could have technician Roy Amerine at my home between 10-12. Eureka! Roy Amerine called me at 11 saying he was on his way. Roy was a delight to meet and understood immediately what needed to be done. My motor had died. He had one on the truck and proceeded to make all things right. You now have a loyal customer and I have been telling all my co-workers about what good service I received. Thanks you, thank you, thank you.
