I have used Precision a couple of times, and each time they have given prompt and effective service. Mark is a great tech, and he explains the service fully. He did not try to up-sell me nor inflate the price of the service. I feel that I was treated very fairly and will certainly use Precision again if necessary.

We recently had a new door installed. We soon began to have trouble closing the door. When I called for maintenance, it took several days, and the repairman didn't get here until approximately 1:30, well outside the 10-Noon window we had been told, without any notice of the delay. My wife, who was home, had a doctor's appointment and was in the shower when the repairman arrived. We never did find out what the problem was, he simply told her he would fix it, and he did. Every one was pleasant.

Dear Mr. Blackburn: I am sorry that our tech was late for his appointment. He certainly should have called to advise you that he was running behind. We teach/instruct our technicians never to leave ANY job until it is complete to the highest standards. That was the reason for the tech running behind on his window with you. We want them to be very picky about their work. Having said that, we also teach/instruct our technicians that they must communicate with their customers during the course of the day should they be running behind. We obviously did not do this. I will use your work order and 3 star review as a teaching tool in our next training session to emphasize no matter how quality the work, communication is just as important to be respectful of a customers time waiting on our arrival. Very satisfied with the service call the second time. Steve was very knowledgeable and was able to repair the opener with the correct parts. We could have saved 3 days and a return service call had the CSR listened to my description of the problem on the original call and ordered the two Genie limit switches for Steve to bring with him on the first call. Instead he assured me their truck was fully stocked.

I can relate to your expectation of a fully stocked truck. I believe we maintain more parts on our trucks than any other company in Atlanta. We are able to repair doors and openers at a 92% rate on the first visit. Having said that, when you told my phone tech you believed the genie needed limited switches, we should have made sure we had those parts on the truck and I will certainly address this issue with my staff and techs, I am glad the end result was a fixed opener and an overall satisfied customer. I choose Precision initially because my door springs had unexpectedly broken and they said they would be able to send someone to make the repair within 24 hours of my call. Mark Moseley came ready to make the repair the next morning. He was very friendly and prompt. After reviewing my door and discussing repair vs replacement costs (my decision not his) I decided to replace the entire thing rather than spend money on fixing my old worn out hardware. I choose a beautiful new Amarr top of the line steel door instead. The price quoted included upgraded rollers and lovely window inserts at a price that was very competitive, and surprisingly cheaper than even than the identical door I had seen at a Costco road show some months earlier. As the door needed to be ordered a temporary repair was done at no charge. There was a delay in receiving my custom door but Precision was very fair and responsive in handling the situation. The technicians that did my install were very professional and great to work with. They took a lot of care to do a wonderful job. All said I couldn't be happier with my new door and I would recommend Precision to anyone needing repairs or a new garage door in their future.
