Had them come out to do a quote, and loved the tech, Mike, got a call ahead of time, AND an email that showed a picture of who was coming out. I loved the safety that provided. He was early, called ahead, and was courteous. Was honest about not being able to fix our 20+ year old system, as we later found out with many calls, and quoted for a new system. The prices were the deterring factor in the new system. I was able to find a smaller company that offered apples to apples for $100 less for the total package. Then, cancelled with them after finding out a friend would do it for the cost of dinner and we purchased the top of the line system (major upgrade) and are spending $200 less overall. If it weren't for the friend, we surely would have gone with the less expensive co. due to cost. However, if cost is not an issue, I would have gone with this company- IMMEDIATELY. I felt much better in person with Mike the tech than I did over the phone with the lowest cost company. Mike was NOT a "salesman." He was straightforward with his prices and the differences between them. I appreciated his time. I would give Mike 10 stars.

My garage doors are 18 years old and were in need of maintenance. I chose Precision Door Service based on reviews from other customers. Mike West performed my work and while I wasn't planning on having to pay as much as I did, Mike was very helpful in explaining the causes for the problems I was having and the work that was needed in order to make my doors operate smoother and quieter. He was very efficient and completed the work in less than one hour (in really cold weather). I appreciate the time he took to explain the repairs needed and the way he treated me during the entire process. I felt very comfortable when talking with him and I have to say my garage doors are quieter and operate much smoother. The cost for the repairs was well worth it when you consider the doors are 18 years old and have never had any maintenance work performed on them. Thanks Mike and I will definitely tell my neighbors about Precision Door Service.

I had my springs replaced a few months back by Performance after one had broken. Several months later I was under the impression that the springs were wound too tight because my door would jump a little when first going down. I called to report this issue and was given an appt the very next day. Mike showed up on time and was very courteous to my wife. He called me at work to let me know that in fact the door was balanced very well and explained why the door jumped a little when closing. There was no charge for this visit. Five stars for this company and they will get all my future business as well as word of mouth referrals!! You can really trust these folks!
