After using another garage door company for nearly 25 years and their failure to be able to repair my broken garage door for 4 days, I made an appointment with Precision who came out in less than 20 hours. In fact, my repairman, David, was able to come over 2 hours earlier than expected! (He called first, too!) David was courteous, friendly and has a great sense of humor, and within 90 minutes added another spring to my door, replaced all the rollers with new ones and upgraded my door cables to ones that can handle my heavy door better. I feel the price was very fair for what I received and now I should not have to replace that door for several years. Waited 3 days because I requested a specific technician. The technician I requested was not sent. The one that was sent spent the 1st 20 minutes sitting in his truck to work up estimates to the tune of over $1100 instead of focusing on fixing what I needed done. Would not recommend and would not use again. No communication as to what was wrong with the opener. No personality. Was polite but that is it. Had to text him to find out what he was doing sitting in his truck.

Your request for a specific technician was noted on the appointment, but the name of the technician wasn't in the notes so when the job was dispatched, it was given to the technician in your area. We certainly could have sent the technician out that you wanted, had we known who to send. As for the technician sitting in the truck, he was writing up your estimate in the heat as it was cold outside. When our employees come to your home, they are required to do a 25 point inspection on your door and tell you all of the things currently wrong, or advise you on what might be an issue for you in the future. They are to present their findings and recommendations to the customer in case they want to proceed with those issues as well as the initial problem they were called out for. If he didn't communicate what he was doing clearly enough to you, we do apologize for that. Our service manager has tried to call you to discuss this with you over the phone, so please reach back out to him if you would like to discuss this further.
