I previously gave Precision 5 stars after Sean came out and gave me an estimate. I have reduced to 4 for a few reasons. Twice I received a call to schedule the instillation and scheduled for a Friday, but was called back to say the door would not be available until Saturday. On Saturday Duane came out to install the panal, but was not aware of the other work that needed to be done. I believe he completed all the work and the door works great. One other issue was when I ordered the glass panal it should have come with grids. However it did not and the old grids did not fit the new window. Monday Ryan came out and installed the grids. Again, I want to say that the quanlity of work was excellant, however communication between workers did not seem sufficient.

Technician was AWESOME! Really nice and efficient. I thought the price of $306. to replace 2 spring sets was high. However, selling my house and time restraints didn't allow for another company to come out.

Although I am not aware of the specific springs installed on your door, I believe the price is very competitive given the fact we use ONLY high cycle springs that give 3-4 times the life of springs installed by other garage door companies. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the fact that I had to pay for the job. But I understand, everyone has to make an honest living:-). On a serious note though I liked the professionalism of the technician (forgot his name), I liked the fact that he recommended products and not try sell them to me, and even though it may sound simple but important to me, was the fact that the technician showed up on time. Note:I ended up additionally changing my rollers and upgrading the tension spring (s). These items I knew were going bad so might as well get them changed by the experts.

My garage door springs broke at 7:30am while my wife was backing out, I was very happy that the door miss the car as it came down hard. Made calls to a few repair companies to get my spring replace, I choose Precision because of the professional way they handled my call, by 2pm my garage door was up and running again. I had 2 springs and 10 rollers replaced and I am very happy with the service and cost.

Unfortunately the door and opener are two entirely different parts of the door system. Many times even after a repair on a door, the noise was nothing to do with the problem like a broken spring, but rather the noise of a non lubricated door and opener rail. Your repairman was great. He did the job and my garage door works....all smooth and less noisy than it was before. I know this is a tough job...with the weight of the doors and the tension on the springs & cables. We couldn't have done this ourselves. Travis came out to replace a broken cable. He found that problem as well as broken spring,door out of alignment,safety set screws were to far of the suggested settings which would not let the door stop when hitting an object.I called for the repair at 1P.M. and was surprised to get an appointment the same day.Travis arrived shortly before 3P.M.He knew what the problems were ,fixed them and was on his way by 5 P.M. It was very good fast service with a 5year warranty
