We have had two perfect experiences so far with Precision Overhead Door and Sean Scheiern specifically. The service is exactly how you hope it would go in your mind: great communication, Sean listened to what we needed, made a great suggestion and plan, and completed the work in a very timely manner. We also felt like the price was fair for the amount of product and services we received. I can't recommend Sean and Precision enough!

The tech not only efficiently and quickly resolved my garage door problem, but without asking he noted our doors were noisy, and showed me where to lubricate each roller to make the silent like new again. Very happy camper here.

My experience with Precision was outstanding from the initial call to make an appointment to the completion of the installation of a new opener. The Technician was Michael Otteson, who was very professional and most informative with explaining in detail what procedures needed to be done to fix my problem. Michael did an excellent job, and I am glad that I contacted Precision to handle the job. I can definitely recommend Precision to anyone needing garage door service. A +

To: Tim, Owner of Precision Garage Door of Atlanta From: Jennifer Lee (Work order#4157903 Invoice O2838413 5/17/2018) Hi Tim, As invited to write a comment per your email, I would like to give Precision Door a chance to correct the pricing mistake on my invoice before I appeal to the credit card company. I called Precision Door to get an estimate for a garage door spring replacement for one of my rental properties in Alpharetta. I received a quote between $70 and $180 (material and labor) before placing the work order. When the technician got there, he said that spring is of a different system that will take longer time to replace, so he will charge us $650 which is almost $500 more than the quote. I refused the work, and immediately he said he can call his manager to reduce the price. Eventually I was charged $300 plus tax for the spring which only took him less than an hour to replace. After he left, my tenant called and said the garage door remote control doesn't work. I had to call Precision Door and asked Sean the manager to call back to re-program it to complete the work. I am writing to request a refund of $120 ($300 minus the maximum of the original quote $180). I felt it was a rip-off. Do you think I will trust your technician to work on my other rental properties again? No unless you adjust the fee and make this business transaction right! Sincerely,

Since the review was written we have responded to the issues brought forth regarding the pricing,etc. and communicated with the customer. It is our understanding that the customer now realizes what the situation was and are pleased with the outcome. For clarification; the original quote was given based on the assumption that it was simply a broken spring only, however when the technician arrived and was able to see the situation in person, it was discovered that it was the entire "spring system", not just an individual spring. We did provide a discount on the parts provided, and the remote control issue was remedied as well. We appreciate your business and value each customer. Thank you for choosing Precision!

I am delighted to rate Sean and his assistant an Excellent rating! They arrived on time and proceeded to repair my very loud and noisy garage door. Now I can hardly hear it ! They also returned the next day at my request to program the remote which I really appreciated. They left everything neat and tidy and in working order. I would highly recommend them and do in fact plan to have them back to work on my other garage doors! Thank you for a job well done.

I want to thank you for being so flexible and having someone out to replace my door on Saturday. I made the desperate call on Friday and without hesitation you made sure that someone would be there on Saturday to take care of the situation. I know that Saturdays are difficult appointments to get, but you made it happen and I’m so grateful for your flexibility. I also want to give a HUGE thank you to Kyle (technician). He had such a friendly attitude and caring personality. I was surprised to see that he came alone to do this job, that I would’ve thought was a job for 2 technicians. I was concerned about my cars; however he took the door down with ease and no cars were harmed in the process. He was very clean and made sure that he picked up every single remnant from the job. I actually think that my garage was cleaner after he finished than when he started. I’m sure that I will not have to purchase another door as long as I live in the house; however I will definitely recommend Precision Garage Doors to my friends. Thanks for an amazing experience!

Kevin came by, today, to investigate why our old (>20 years) garage door opener was no longer able to pull our door up. As it turns out, there was a part that was stripped that needed to be replaced. Rather than taking advantage and merely suggesting that we replace the entire garage door opener, he quoted us a price for replacing the defective part. I had suspected that the part was stripped before calling Precision, but had already decided that replacing our very old opener was the best course of action. So, I was impressed with Kevin's honesty and the fact that he didn't immediately try to up-sell us on something that we didn't actually need, even though no one would've argued with him that the opener probably needed to be replaced, soon. Kevin replaced the entire opener in a very timely manner (less than 1.5 hours) and took time to explain the safety features and operation of the opener. It was very reasonably priced, and I can't believe how much quieter our garage door opens, now. I highly recommend Tim's team at Precision!

Amazing service! I shopped around when we purchased garage doors a few years ago and Precision charged us half for the same exact garage doors that Overhead was charging. So, today, they came back to install a new keypad and to get a new remote. Sean was AWESOME! Hands down would never use another garage door company!

The people at Precision Overhead Garage Doors were professional and courteous. I called on a Monday to have someone look at our garage doors that weren’t opening and they had technicians out the next day. The techs (Sean and Steve) were on time and knowledgeable. They assessed our issues and gave us an estimate with two different options. They completed the work quickly and cleaned up after. Our garage doors finally work again and I can’t remember them being so quiet. I would definitely recommend this company!

Timely, thorough, excellent service, & reasonable pricing. One of the torsion springs failed & we were couldn't get our cars out of the garage. Precision dispatched a technician within 2hrs of our call. Josh showed up, replaced the failed torsion springs, rollers & bearings. While finishing up we discovered the opener unit gearing was very near failure. He had everything he needed on board & had us back in business in short order. Couldn't ask for more!! Highly recommended!

Shaun a technician explained that our garage door opener was very old and the transmission inside the box was the problem. He said they didn't make them any longer so the choice was to replace it for $400. Then he remembered he might have one in his truck. This could save us because it was only $200. but only if he had this part that was not manufactured anymore for years. Lo and behold he had the part. He was able to quote instantly any part needed. amazing!!! He replaced the part and a few other items and left. A very friendly fellow. After he left my wife brought over the part he replaced 'the transmission' in a plastic bag. Since I am trusting and the reviews are so strong I just said ok. But my wife found the part, it is called a socket type for 19$ online. WOW! We trustingly let this company basically con us. I wonder how many times this has occurred to others who gave good reviews only to be cheated. Two calls to management have gone unanswered.
