I really enjoy helping others fix the problems they are having with their garage doors. I've lived in Georgia my entire life. I have a wife and 2 children which I love spending time with. Precision garage door techs work off commission. We had a spring break on our main double car garage door. Was told over the phone the spring would be about $189. Come to find out that both springs need to be replace on those large doors when only one spring breaks. So in my opinion, it should be quoted that way originally, $380 for the pair of springs. When Dustin came he quoted over $1000 for service to the door. What was worse was his attitude towards me. Very condescending and rude. The next day we had Aaron Overhead doors fix the springs and a few other items that needed to be repaired. The cost was $300. I feel like Precision was trying to take advantage of me. Beware!!!!

Thank you for giving us your feedback, we appreciate it. General prices are given over the phone to give the customer an idea of pricing. It is hard to know what kind of door or spring system is currently up at a customer's home without a technician going out to look at the property to give an exact quote. All calls are recorded and when we went back to listen and make sure the scheduler quoted you correctly, she did which was a quote per spring. After reviewing the two quotes given to you by the technician, you were quoted just to replace the springs, and were given a quote to do a full high cycle rebuild on the door as several components failed on the 25 point inspection report. We apologize for the technician's attitude that you experienced. We do not promote this kind of customer service by any means and are handling this internally to make sure this does not happen again. We do try to be competitive with our pricing based on each quote option given to a customer. Again, we appreciate the feedback and hate that we couldn’t work with you.

Precision has always done a good job for us, and this time was no exception. We were able to get an appointment very quickly and they arrived promptly, with a courtesy call shortly prior to arrival. Technician was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing, what the cost of each option would be, and got the door working nicely.

Called to have our garage door looked at as it was making noise when closing and the chain was loose. What we got was a tech trained to be a salesman who quoted us either $300+ or $600+ to fix things we weren't sure were wrong. Bad-mouthed the competition endlessly and in the end, we just had him adjust the chain for $95.00. I've been in sales all my life and never say negative things about my competition because it makes me look unprofessional. Appreciate their help in adjusting the chain, but will never use this company again.

I called this morning because one of our garage doors broke this morning.. Actually the large metal pulls disc broke and came flying from the garage door to me standing by my back door. It flew so quick and hard that it made a huge ho,e in the Sheetrock inches from my face, the ricocheted to the other side of the garage. A few inches and I would have been killed. It was horrible. I called Precission and they had Dustin come out within an hour. The actual doors were fine but he ended up replacing both pulls systems with a much much safer designed one as well as pointing out and replacing 3 broken brackets. The quality of materials is incredible. We will feel so much safer now knowing that if the super thick cables they use, which I can imagine breaking, do break the spring system will just cause the door not to open but will not allow the parts to catapult through the air. Dustin was extremely professional and so nice. He explained each step before he did it and did not pressure me in any way to have the second door repaired to the upgraded standard that the broken was. It was a no brainer. Please give them a call if you ever need help in the future.

My technician was Dustin. He arrived early and greeted me upon arrival. Dustin listened to my problem and then did a test on the garage door. After the test was done, he explained what had to be done and how much it would cost. Dustin then completed the work in a professional and timely manner. He is also customer friendly with a great attitude. I am completely satisfied with work that he did. I would recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service to anyone.

Had new garage door openers installed. amazed at how quiet they are. we have a bedroom above the garage, old units were loud and noisy. Dustin was our technician. he called before coming, was prompt, explained everything that needed to be done, did a very professional job, and was very personable. will definitely ask for him again. love the new quiet garage door openers. Had an emergency of my door getting stuck and off the track. Called and was able to get a same day appt. Technician showed up early and did a thorough inspection and explained everything clearly. Dustin was able to complete all repairs in about an hour and everything is as good as new. Will definitely keep you guys on my phone for any future issues. If you are having trouble with your garage door, definitely give Precision Door Services a call.

Let me start by saying that I had been happy with the service and products that we have received from Precision in the past. I have bought a new garage door and opener for our main garage a couple of years ago. The installation and service were first rate. I did feel that the cost of the door opener was a little high but not too unreasonable. Recently our detached garage had an issue with its door where the safety senors were vibrating when the door was closing and would not allow the door to close. The door would go down 3/4 of the way and then the senors would loose signal and cause the door to go back up. I called Precision and they were able to come out that day. The technician came out and diagnosed the problem quickly. He said that the door needed to be realigned and that the metal rollers that originally came with the door needed to be replaced with nylon rollers. This would fix the vibration that was causing the sensors to trip the door. He quoted me $476 to complete the work. I was shocked at the cost to say the least. The cost break down was as follows: $216 to replace the rollers, $129 for "Tune up" and $100 for "General Maintenance" plus tax. At that point I had to have the door repaired so I tried to negotiate a lower price to no avail. I had the technician do the work which took him a total of 20 minutes. It did fix the door but I came away from the experience feeling very unhappy with the value of service that I received. I believe that the roller replacement fixed the issue and should not have been charged the other two fees. I will not use Precision Garage Door in the future.

I called Precision to repair garage door that was hit by a SUV. The technician was nice and quoted me a price of $661 to replace the bottom panel and some hardware but had to quote me a time of 2 weeks before the repair could be completed. I stated I wanted the repair completed today and would wait for another quote. The tech began to berate small companies and said that I would not find any company to repair the door today. Fortunately another company arrived at 12:20 and my door was completely repaired by 1:00 pm and at price more than $400 less than Precision's quote.

People. Don't EVER allow any company to come to your home with the policy of charging you a "service call fee" and a promise of refunding that fee if you purchase their product or service! I received a quote for over 1000.00 to do some garage door work by Precision. After the technician left I was so angry I looked up the repair procedures online, watched about 10 minutes of video and repaired the darn thing myself! Goes up and down now with one finger!! I'll install my own door opener later. A 60.00 lesson I'll not soon forget!

Dustin Bourchier came out to replace my garage door opener, he was the nicest, most polite and courteous guy I could have encountered. He called me when he was on the way and was there when he said he would be. He answered all my questions and programmed my car for me. I felt completely comfortable and confident in him and his work. I called on Friday and they sent Dustin out on Saturday, just like I asked. I will continue to call Precision any time I have an issue with my garage door. Thank you Dustin for such great service and for being such a great guy!

I feel that this fellow was a scam artist. He used High pressure tactics. He just wouldn't take that I could not purchase something, that he wanted me to purchase today. He wanted to replace the springs; the motor, and then he wanted another $125, for a service call, to tighten the screws that were apparently coming loose. He said he would take a post dated check (3 or 4 times); that I wouldn't get this good a deal any other day; that we can do it all while I'm here now. I had to say, an excessive amount of time: I can't do it today; I don't have the money; I have a check coming next week, I will call you then; I have a termite guy coming today that I need to have money for him (which was absolutely true). He brought out the box, thinking that I would change my mind, if he showed me the box. He first wanted to replace a whole panel. When I asked him if he could just replace the door with a new rail and rubber, he said no. Until, he called someone, and then it became acceptable to do that. This is why I don't like calling a strange company from an advertisement- someone I don't know. I will not call your company back now, after the fellow got me so aggravated. I turned from starting to like the fellow at first to total dislike. He had all of the indicia of high pressure sales techniques. If this is how your company operates, you will not get any recommendation from me.
