Not only am I dissatisfied with the repair service I received from Precision Door, I’m extremely dissatisfied with their lack of response to my concerns. When I called to complain, the same tech who serviced my door called me back. When I asked for his managers phone number he refused to give it to me but said he would have him call me back, but he never did. I then sent an email to the person who mailed me my invoice and they never replied. I then sent email to their main email address but still never received a reply. Now, I will take my complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

David called and gave me a 30 minute arrival time. He was very knowledgeable on the type door system I had. He was very courteous. He fixed the broken spring and lubricated the door. I would recommend this company to anyone needing garage repair or new garage door installation. I really liked the idea of weekend appointments.

Precision has my recommendation. Michael Otteson did an excellent job installing my new garage door opener. He was very personable and explained the difference of repairing the old one (which is no longer made) or purchasing a new one. He was always on time and called to let me know when he would arrive. He also programed my car to open the garage door which was greatly appreciated. He has "thumbs up" from a Snellville home owner who will call on him again if the need arises.

I used Trust Dale for my garage repair and service. I do not have time to have someone come out, charge a high fee and do a sloppy job - and care for my husband who has Stage 4 lung cancer. Your technician discussed the problem, solutions and cost with my husband and me. We chose the most expensive solution for long term problem free results and have been very pleased with our choice. Fred Griffin installed my 1st garage door, and did an outstanding job. He was friendly and courteous – explained what he would be doing, and answered my questions. Fred worked competently and efficiently in dealing with a concrete foundation wall and metal support post in the garage. He was meticulous in making sure that the door operated well and that there was a good seal all around the edges of the door opening. He also explained some easy maintenance tips to make sure the door performs well over time. Some issues at my house made it necessary to install the two garage doors separately, and I appreciate Fred’s professional skill and care in the installation of this door.

To: Tim, Owner of Precision Garage Door of Atlanta From: Jennifer Lee (Work order#4157903 Invoice O2838413 5/17/2018) Hi Tim, As invited to write a comment per your email, I would like to give Precision Door a chance to correct the pricing mistake on my invoice before I appeal to the credit card company. I called Precision Door to get an estimate for a garage door spring replacement for one of my rental properties in Alpharetta. I received a quote between $70 and $180 (material and labor) before placing the work order. When the technician got there, he said that spring is of a different system that will take longer time to replace, so he will charge us $650 which is almost $500 more than the quote. I refused the work, and immediately he said he can call his manager to reduce the price. Eventually I was charged $300 plus tax for the spring which only took him less than an hour to replace. After he left, my tenant called and said the garage door remote control doesn't work. I had to call Precision Door and asked Sean the manager to call back to re-program it to complete the work. I am writing to request a refund of $120 ($300 minus the maximum of the original quote $180). I felt it was a rip-off. Do you think I will trust your technician to work on my other rental properties again? No unless you adjust the fee and make this business transaction right! Sincerely,

Since the review was written we have responded to the issues brought forth regarding the pricing,etc. and communicated with the customer. It is our understanding that the customer now realizes what the situation was and are pleased with the outcome. For clarification; the original quote was given based on the assumption that it was simply a broken spring only, however when the technician arrived and was able to see the situation in person, it was discovered that it was the entire "spring system", not just an individual spring. We did provide a discount on the parts provided, and the remote control issue was remedied as well. We appreciate your business and value each customer. Thank you for choosing Precision!

Definitely another 5-star rating for this company! Today was the second time during our ownership of this home that we turned to Precision Door Service. Because of the excellent repairs, thoroughness, communication skills and friendliness of the technician at our earlier visit, we again turned to them this week when what turned out to be a minor issue (but a major headache just a few days from closing on selling our house!) needed to be resolved. Today, Joe M. was our technician and the experience was again exceptional. One more thing off of the burgeoning moving check list with timely, friendly service. I believe in being as quick to praise as to criticize, and am most happy to recommend this company and the team members I've dealt with.

when I made an apt I mentioned that I had a coupon for free service call with repair, the person noted this on my service call and informed me that the call is $59.99. My apt was between 12-2pm he showed up at 10am, and my son who works nights was caught off guard by the tech who quickly took advantage of this saying that the service call is $120 but for $10 extra he would grease the springs. when I got home I called the 800# and complained. I was told that my service record did in fact state that I had a coupon for a free service call and that she would report this to the local office from which I could expect a call soon. This was Sat it is now Mon and still no call back. I should not have been charged $130 and am dubious of utilizing their services again, or at least not without spending the day at home just in case they show up early!
