Garage door was working fine but I thought we should get a service/tune up since home was purchased a month earlier.The door did need to have both springs adjusted with 3 quarter turns each to better balance door.Technician did this and inspected and lubricated rollers and hinges.Unfortunately the same day later in the day the door would not open via the outdoor controller.I called first thing the following day but office said first available appointment was not til the next day.I attempted to adjust limiter according to service managers recommendation hoping to remedy a problem that was not previously occurring(the trolley was running too far down the track causing track to arch after door closed) the motor would hum for 1-3 seconds and then shut off.The door had to be disengaged to take pressure off track.I apparently managed to burn up the limiter circuit board and as a result had to spend $582 for new opener.My only complaint is that I paid for a service call initially and also was told their were no specials but see a $50 coupon online

Ryan Hudson gets 5 stars for his exemplary service on a warranty service call. He assessed the situation, affected a repair and got the Liftmaster back in good working order. He also checked the other Liftmaster and lubricated both Liftmasters to make sure they were working up to par. I also appreciated his "Garage Door 101" explanations of his procedures. The work was done at my daughter's home, but I will certainly use Precision Door for any future needs at my own home in Woodstock. Thanks very much, Ryan!!

I called Precision shortly before 6pm when I got home from work and my garage door wouldn't open. They came out first thing the next morning. The technicians were friendly and explained what the problem was and my options. They had the door fixed in about an hour. Glen came out to do maintenance and service on our two garage door openers. He was able to fix the noise we were worried about and gave us a price on replacing one panel that's too big - much lower price than what we'd been quoted previously!
